Under the direction of the Vice President, Human Resources or designate, the Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the timely, efficient, and cost-effective sourcing, attracting, and hiring of qualified candidates to grow a strong talent pipeline and meet the growing demands of SCF. The Recruiter works in collaboration with managers on a regular basis to proactively identify current and future hiring needs. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, exceptional relationship-building, and a keen understanding of the continuing care sector.

The ideal candidate will have one (1) to three (3) years’ work experience in high volume, full cycle recruitment paired with a proven track record in addressing hard-to-fill positions with a focus on relationship management and candidate engagement. Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is required. Experience in recruiting in a unionized health care environment is strongly preferred.
