Bi-Weekly Hours: 77.5

Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.00 – $26.55

Location: 2759-109 Street, Edmonton, AB

Reporting to the Recreation Therapy Manager, the Recreation Attendant supports the planning, delivery, and evaluation of recreation therapy programs in accordance with SCF’s Mission, Values, and Resident Care Plans. The Attendant facilitates safe, engaging, and therapeutic activities tailored to resident needs, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with program organization, documenting participation and resident responses, and providing support to residents, families, and visitors. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, resident advocacy, and adherence to SCF policies and procedures.

Consider applying if you have a Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation. Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) are required. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of computer applications, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and engage residents. Strong interpersonal skills in working with residents, families, and staff are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
