The Opportunity

Employment Type: Temporary Part time (for six months or until April 30, 2026; whichever is earlier)

Bi-Weekly Hours: 62

Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.84

Location: Shepherd’s Care Admin Office: 12601 – 135 Avenue NW Edmonton, AB

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Junior Accounting Clerk is responsible for deposits processing, invoice processing, and various tasks related to the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. A sound knowledge of accounting procedures, excellent customer service and excellent organizational skills are required to carry out the broad variety of duties.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with additional coursework or experience in general accounting processes considered an asset. Strong computer literacy is required, with preference given to those proficient in Microsoft 365. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and clearly. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract are preferred.
