The Opportunity

Permanent Full Time – FTE 1.0 – 77.5 Biweekly Hours
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Program Manager (PM) provides overall leadership, coordination, and direction to the clinical care team acting within the Mission, Vision, and Values of SCF and the standards of professional nursing practice. The PM is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and carrying out person centered nursing care services and ensuring compliance with continuing care health service standards, employment and safety-related legislation, codes, regulations, and SCF policies and procedures.
Consider applying if you have a recognized Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree, a current membership in good standing with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses (CRPNA), demonstrated skills in leadership, performance management, and a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible work experience at a supervisory or management level in long term care or related field.
A Gerontology Certificate, strong knowledge of safe work practices/procedures, and proficient organizational, computer, and presentation skills are considered great assets.
