The Opportunity
Part Time 0.60FTE, 46.50 hours bi weekly, Evenings
Shepherd’s Care Barrhead which is located in the lively community of Barrhead, an hour northwest of Edmonton. The site, surrounded by gardens, provides 42 residents with supportive living care where the individuals enjoy a home-like setting with the comfort of having health care services provided.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.08 – $26.42
Health Care Aides (HCAs) provide support, advocacy, and choice to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of resident focused care. As members of the clinical care team, HCAs assist residents with the activities of daily living including by providing residents with assistance in bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfer in a safe and caring manner.
Consider applying if you are registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory; completed your Bridging Modules, if required; can read, write, and speak English effectively; and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
