Position End Date: This is a twelve (12) month term, with the possibility of extension.
Location: Shepherd’s Care Prince of Peace: 300 Prince of Peace Way Rocky View County, AB
Rate of Pay: Commensurate with education and experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Leasing Manager is responsible for maximizing occupancy within the Prince of Peace independent living community. This role leads the full leasing experience—from initial inquiry to move-in, while developing strategic marketing initiatives, supporting prospective tenants and families, and contributing to a welcoming and seamless transition into the community.
The Leasing Manager also collaborates with internal teams and external partners to support tenant engagement in wellness, lifestyle, and community programs.
Key Accountabilities
- Leads tours for prospective tenants and families;
- Serves as the primary contact for leasing inquiries, move-ins, move-outs, and tenant questions;
- Responds to all telephone and online inquiries for independent living communities;
- Maintains show suites in move-in ready condition;
- Executes new lease agreements within organizational guidelines;
- Develops and implements strategic marketing and occupancy plans;
- Provides weekly updates to leadership and monthly occupancy reports;
- Attends tenant meetings and collaborates with internal departments and external partners (e.g., AHS);
- Supports input on suite renovations and readiness
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and OH&S requirements.
The ideal candidate will have three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a leasing agent or five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in sales and marketing. Experience working with seniors or within a seniors’ living environment is considered an asset. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and a driver’s abstract acceptable to the Employer. Strong English language skills are required, with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively in a professional environment.
