Dementia Care (SL4D) is a secure, home-like environment with 24/7 care for residents experiencing cognitive decline. SL4D care teams include licensed practical nurses and health care aides.  Registered Nurses provide additional care support on a consultative basis.

Greenfield offers 30 Supportive Living with Dementia Care (SL4D) units. With the added supports for each of our residents diagnosed with mid-stage dementia, we offer a safe and secure environment. Our staff are trained for dementia care and understand the needs of our residents.

Admission to the Supportive Living units (SL4D) is only through assessment by Alberta Health Services. Residents pay a government regulated accommodation charge, which covers room and board (three meals per day plus snacks), housekeeping, linen and bedding laundry and some building maintenance costs.

Pastoral care is available to all residents, including weekly interdenominational church services in our on-site chapel, and hymn sings.
