Eight weeks of employment funded by Canada Summer Job Grant
Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00
The Fundraising Organizer provides support to the Executive Director, Fund Developments with the planning and execution of Shepherd’s Care Foundations (SCF) fundraising activities including; grant and funding applications, fundraising campaigns, social media and database management. This vacancy will also assist with any event planning that may be occurring, depending on COVID requirements at the time.
You have demonstrated skills and experience in fundraising management, event and project planning, social media content, as well as the ability to provide outstanding customer service. You are currently enrolled in or have graduated from an Event/Non-Profit Management, Marketing or Communications program. A valid driver’s license, strong graphic design and computer skills are preferred.
This position is a hybrid of remote work and in-person. We are open to flexible working hours.

Canada Summer Job Grant Youth Requirements
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
