The Opportunity

Temporary Part Time – 0.90 FTE – 70.0 hours biweekly

Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00

Reporting to the Executive Director, Fund Development and Communications, the Fund Development Assistant supports the development and implementation of the charitable giving and fundraising activities for SCF. This position is a hybrid of remote work and in-person.

Consider applying if you are currently enrolled in or have graduated from a commerce, business administration, marketing, public relations program; can read, write, and speak English effectively; have strong organizational and project management skills; have demonstrated experiences with fund development, fund planning, capital campaigns, face-to-face donor cultivation, and stewardship.

Canada Summer Job Grant Youth Requirements

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
