A dedication to the celebration of life inspires the Shepherd's Care Foundation and makes an impact on each individual who steps through the doors of any of our facilities.  We regularly host events to bring together members of the community, to raise funds for critical services, and to celebrate our many blessings.

• The Good Walk Golf Tournament 2008
  The Shepherd's Care Foundation is pleased to announce our 12th annual Good Walk Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 11 at the Jagare Ridge Golf Club in South West Edmonton. The day begins with a BBQ Lunch at 11:30am, Shotgun Tee Off at 1pm, followed by a BBQ Steak Dinner & Silent Auction at the Millwoods Shepherd's Care facility at 7pm. All proceed from this years tournament will go toward the complete renovation of the two bathing rooms for the residents of the 2nd floor Millwoods Care Centre. • New assisted living facility to open in Barrhead
  The facility is now open to serve those throughout the Aspen Health Region.
  
  
• Staff Appreciation & Long Service Awards Presented
  The Shepherd's Care Foundation has been growing strong for 35 years. Recently, we've experienced unprecedented growth in our communities and in the scope of our services—and we have each and every employee to thank for it.
  
  Each member of our team—from health care staff and volunteers to maintenance and service staff—contributes in outstanding ways to the celebration of life in our caring, Christian environments, and we wanted to share our gratitude. On August 27th, Shepherd's Care Foundation recognized their entire team at the 35th Anniversary Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Each staff t-shirt received a complimentary t-shirt and was included in a prize raffle. Each member received one draw ticket for each year of service to Shepherd's Care. Thank you to everyone for their hard work!
