Summer Youth Coordinator - Summer Temporary Employment Program

Location:  Edmonton Millwoods Campus

Maximum of 16 weeks from May to August 2017, depending on start date, working 37.75 hours per week.

Reporting to the Therapeutic Services Manager,  position responsibilities include  developing a summer volunteer program with participating departments, developing program outlines, talent management, supervision, training, scheduling and evaluating summer youth volunteers,  maintaining an ongoing record of activities and statistical information complete with making recommendations for future program changes and participating in other projects as determined.


  • Mature outlook with outgoing personality and ability to work independently and with diverse groups
  • University/College returning student, experienced in organizing and working with youth
  • Volunteer management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interviewing and supervisory skills
