Additional Services
After an Alberta Health Services professional assesses an individual, they will determine, in collaboration with the individual and their family, the amounts and types of services for that person that will be publicly funded through Alberta's Health System. Within any of our care communities, you may wish to supplement your publicly funded services with additional offerings and amenities. As the publicly funded system only provides so much, many families choose to "top up" the care and services a family member receives, offering peace of mind and sometimes preventing a relocation to a higher level of care.
